Capitole de Toulouse, France

Capitole de Toulouse (City Hall), Toulouse, France. First building on this site began in 1190, but the earliest sections of the current structure date to the 16th century, and the facade facing onto the Place du Capitole was built in 1750 to designs by Guillaume Cammas. The color of the brick, common in Toulouse where good building stone is rare, helped give the city its nickname, "The Pink City."
