Metallic Beetle

Unidentified Beetle - Cordillera Escalera Conservation Area, Peru

 

I don't know what species of beetle this is but its a pretty one! From the Peruvian cloud forest its bright metallic colors caught my eye as I was walking past. The hardest part of photographing it was that the plant on which it was sitting in would constantly sway with the breeze, I sat and waited until a calm point and quickly snapped this photo.
