Mr Teal

I had totally forgotten about the George Evans Hide in Balgove Bay until today. It was totally brilliant. Loads of hungry birds feeding in front of the hide...wigeon, teal, redshanks, lapwing, dunlin, mallard, gulls. All in great warm winter light. It was baltic there though. Outside the hide there were 100s of winter thrushes feasting on the hawthorn berries and not a golfer in sight!!!
