Feast of Waxwings

What a wonderful find in a housing estate in Kinross, Perthshire. Don't think that the local residents were aware of their exotic visitors feasting on the rowan berries making their superb cooing noise. There were 28 birds in this tree. We also found a huge flock of 60 in the King St car park in the centre of Creiff this afternoon.
