Painted Lady at Kilminning

Found this butterfly last night at Kilminning...only know what is is thanks to Viche and Hunterswind. One of the best known migrant butterflies, it usually arrives in June. It appears that there is a current large invasion....? due to the warm weather? It is one of the few butterflies found in Ireland and Iceland.
