Mediterranean Gull: A Scarce Annual Visitor To Britain
This bird is one of 3 med gulls that has arrived in Shore St, Buckhaven, Fife.This photo is for my husband Simon who is stuck, bored in Heathrow Airport en route to Boston.I hope that they are still around for him to see next week.
It is slightly larger than the black-headed gull. Note the all-white flight feathers, scarlet bill and legs.
