The Individual Awards acknowledge people that have shown exceptional leadership and given their time and resources to make SHPE a better community. Winners were selected by a Regional Awards Panel who received online peer nominations online. Here’s a list of the winners:

The Organizational Awards acknowledge chapters who have carried out exceptional execution in line with SHPE’s mission – SHPE changes lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize their fullest potential and impacts the world through STEM awareness, access, support and development. Here’s a list of winners:

•Blue Chip Award winner: University of Southern California

•Best Student Small Chapter Award: East Los Angeles College

•Best Student Medium Chapter Award: University of Arizona, UC Irvine, UC Riverside

•Best Student Large Chapter Award: Arizona State University, Cal Poly Pomona
