All Saints Church, Walsoken

Walsoken is now conjoined as a suburb to the north east of Wisbech. The official amalgamation of the two boroughs took place in 1934, an event that also saw a redrawing of the county boundary. Thus, the village of Walsoken was incorporated into what is now Cambridgeshire. However, the parish church of All Saints lay outside the area thereby affected and so has remained within the county of Norfolk.

All Saints is a Grade 1 listed building, its chancel and nave dating from the mid-12th century late Norman period. The upper level of the tower and spire are 14th century constructions.
