Moving the anthracite in HO gauge

An appealing model railway layout at the Reading Railroad History Museum in Hamburg PA. Shifting coal from the region’s anthracite mines was the basis of much of the Reading Company’s business.

 

I recognise the tiny blue die-cast pickup truck as a British Matchbox Toy Morris Commercial J2. The full-scale version was produced between 1956 and 1967. I wonder if many were exported to North America?
