Tulip chairs and Connie

Eero Saarinen’s tulip chairs grace the retro-chic TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport. On the tarmac beyond stands ‘Connie’, a former TWA Lockheed Constellation that formed the backbone of the old airline’s fleet in the pre-jet area during the 1950s. She has now been repurposed at a cocktail bar with seats for 45 guests.
