When TPA was spanking new

The new Tampa International Airport (TPA) opened in 1971. Its designed features an innovative hub-and-spoke system for its terminals, which were connected to the main concourse by automated people movers. That system remains in use today. Westinghouse provided the original equipment, as advertised in a contemporary LIFE Magazine.
