One of Southwest’s workhorses

Seen pushing back at the Southwest hub of Chicago Midway (MDW) is a Boeing 737-700, the predominant model in a famously one-model airline. Of 736 aircraft currently in the Southwest fleet, the short-length 700 variant seating 143 passengers totals 461 examples. The MAX 7 is being ordered to replace older B737-700s and will enter service from 2022.
