Bold as brass, this mature iguana was soaking up the rays along the Riverwalk in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Popular with some folk as pets, iguanas that escaped into the wild decided that Florida was very much to their liking, and numbers of this invasive species have skyrocketed. They are categorised as a nuisance and the Florida Wildlife Commission is encouraging their capture.
