Hybrid pioneer

Launched in 1999, the Honda ZE1 Insight was the first hybrid car to be sold in North America, beating the more familiar Toyota Prius by seven months. The first-generation model was a stylish vehicle, but is a rare vehicle, with only 17,020 units sold worldwide during a seven-year production life. This survivor was tracked down by the St Petersburg Marina.
