Perivale Moderne - III
Perivale station on the Central Line bears the unmistakable Art Deco panache of Charles Holden. It was designed for the planned extension of the Central Line in 1938, but World War II delayed completion until 1947. The station as finished was to a simplified design, omitting the pair of flanking towers originally envisaged. Perivale station has been Grade II Listed since 2011.
