Enlightened

Finally I had a few spare hours this Sunday afternoon to go out and find a nice spot for a good shot. Weather was freezing and foggy but the fog wasn't very thick so I thought chances were good for great light during sunset.

This historical windmill along the shore of the "Paterswoldsemeer" close to my home city Groningen is a known landmark and a much used photography object. An hour before this shot it was fog everywhere and my hopes for a colorful sunset weren't very high. But then circumstances started changing when the fog started to fade slowly resulting in this image. A nice addition was the moon above the mill.....enjoy!
