Mono Hot Springs
My wife, son, and I just got back from 4 days at our favorite Sierra getaway, Mono Hot Springs Resort where we stayed at their “Honeymoon Cabin”, an extraordinary, historic stone cabin on the edge of the San Joaquin River. My wife and I enjoyed our secluded retreat in the forest while our son and his best friend had their own cabin nearby.
This photo is of the south fork of the San Joaquin River which was taken literally steps away from the covered front porch of our cabin. The green meadows to the left of the river have many natural and concrete-lined hot springs. I would be happy to share my knowledge of the Mono Hot Springs area if anyone is interested in visiting this magical place. It is truly a hidden gem for both families and couples alike.
