Blue & Green Birthday
This card was made using the color challenge, technique challenge and one of the sketches from this week's summer card camp class. So sad to see camp ending soon, but I got lots of great inspiration!
The circles were embossed in clear, and then dipped into a green gelato mixed with water. I wish I could photograph the shine that the gelato gives those circles. Something to work on!
The blue background used this week's faux letterpress technique. Finally, the green strip at the bottom was just a direct to paper inking.
I have to say that I think this has been my favorite week out of the four. I'm super glad I took the class and hope to be able to take another!
Stamps: hero arts 'find joy' set and 'sweet threads thank you' set
cs: georgia pacific white
ink: distress ink in broken china, memento ink in pear tart, green gelato
extras: light blue bic pen to color the pearls, clear embossing powder, corner rounder, cuttlebug embossing folder
