Schick Injector Type G, Built between 1946 through 1955
My good friend Rich Kennedy recently sent me this razor (gifted to me) along with the injector blades. I'd never shaved with an injector in my life. Rich kept telling me what great razors they are and I was going to pick one up but never got around to it. Guess Rich thought the only way I was going to try one was if he gave me one of his=:-) Thanks again Rich!!!
FWIW it's a great shaver...I've used it two night in a row. One thing I like about this razor, you more or less have to leave the blade in it, which is nice in that you don't have to bother with removing and cleaning the blade after each use like I'm wanton to do with any of my DE razors so you can leaver the blade in it and shave with it until it's too dull for another use, thenj change the blade out and you're all set to run with it again...now I'm planning on cleaning it when I find it starts to pull and tug, and I'll clean with some of my Lysol bathroom cleaner in a spray bottle then rinse after the cleaner soaks for a bit, all while the used blade is in it. After it;'s clean, the new blade goes in
And I was surprised how close of a shave I got from it, especially on my throat where I have a cow lick of sorts, usually preventing me from getting a baby butt shave result with most razors, unelss I really work at it but this injector blade shaved the throat hairs right off cleanly doing a 3 pass shave
