Knitting with two attached balls
This is not a good idea. Knitting from the inside and outside of a ball leads to a certain looseness about halfway down the socks, so I usually end up re-winding it. I decided to see what would happen if I had two centre-pull balls, rather than going from the inside and the outside of one. What happens is then you have three potential yarns to tangle---the one connecting the two balls to each other, as well as the working yarn for each sock. I finally rewound it into one ball.
