Aiguille de Midi at Sunset (Explored)
A shot of the famous Aiguille du MIdi with its cable car station on the summit. I needed to use HDR due to the huge tonal range of the image. The golden colours are caused by a setting sun in a patchy sky reflecting on the snow. The HDR certainly emphasises this aspect of the image but hopefully enhances rather than makes it become unnatural.
