Finding the Lost Falls
Ruby Falls-Chattanooga, Tennessee. My favorite underground waterfall is the world's tallest and deepest fall, located inside Lookout Mountain. It's a perfect place to capture the natural beauty of the fall. You reach it by taking an elevator 260 feet down into Lookout Mountain and spending an hour walking along the cave path, with all the magnificent formations and natural splendor to see. Near the end of the cave is the roaring water of the great Ruby Falls, which is 145 feet high, and about 1120 feet underground.
