Joy
Joy, who is not a GSP, and likely not even part GSP, was pulled from a shelter by a new volunteer. The pictures from the shelter did look like she could be a GSP, but clearly, once we got a better look, she was not. But, because we had taken responsibility for her, she stayed with me, and found a wonderful home. Sadly, Joy’s new owner got a job out of the country, and she couldn’t take Joy with her. So, she came back to me.
Joy is about 3 yrs old, probably Dobe/Lab mix. She loves people, is super-friendly, housetrained, crate trained, knows basic obedience commands, gets along with other dogs, is fine with dog-savvy cats, and is extremely intelligent. She loves to retrieve and is very athletic. Joy would be a great companion for an active person or family. She would excel at dog sports such as agility, as well. Though she isn’t a GSP, she probably thinks she is, after hanging out with all the foster dogs (she shows them the ropes) at my house.
