Yes! YESSSS... Oh noooooo!
This is more of a story than a picture... I love Machel Spence's pictures. She is my heroine! (one of them-- Bonnie, Geri, Dawn, Tammy, Cora, Martha.... you all are too) Anyway I stayed up all night... As some of you know I have become a hoarder and I am in the throes of my "personal summer" that has lasted longer than I think it should and I get so hot on semi warm days that I can't function! So I stayed up all night getting rid of stuff to some ladies who have a little boutique-y thrift store in Ballard.. these ladies, Carol and Diane... I just love! So even tho I tried to get to bed before daylight, I couldn't sleep... even after daylight, I couldn't sleep, so Ozzie Dog and I went outside with my camera... the ground was really really dew-laden... wet even... As I rounded the corner of my house onto the north side, I just about shouted! A teeny little mushroom!! So I took a little of grass out so I could get a clear shot and laid a board down so that i wouldn't get my pj bottoms soaked... and I tried to get my camera focused and ........... OH NO... Ozzie wanted my attention.. and walked right through my vision and broke my little shroom... Well it was a fragile little thing... but I picked it up and put it on a blackberry leaf and decided to shoot it anyway...
so here it is...
Thanks for tuning into my story hour...
If you don't know what a personal summer is.. Ask a woman in her 50s...
