Ilonse in Autumn
Charming and comatose hilltop village of Ilonse, a stone's throw from the frenzy of Nice on the coast, reached by a paved but diabolical road, the road going down at the other side of the pass was even worse, if there's a large vehicle coming in the opposite direction, you're, to put it bluntly, fucked. Luckily the only other vehicle I encountered during the entire stretch was a farm tractor that passed while I was taking this photo, safely pulled over, so my rental car was able to keep its virginity.
