Volcanic Sunset
Shot though an airplane window, flying into Guatemala City, the flight was delayed because of a sinkhole at the airport in Guatemala, it took 4 hours before flights resumed, immigration was pure mayhem, it took 2 more hours, once outside, there are no taxis anymore, you have to trust ride hawkers, and negotiate a price with a private driver who has no idea how to get to your destination, which was supposed to be only 40 minutes away, it took another 2 hours with traffic and feeding the hawker and driver with a Dominos Pizza in the most heavily fortified strip mall I have ever seen.... oh the joys of third world travel, there I was thinking, when I booked the ticket, I would arrive plenty of time on the ground to explore and and have a blue hour shoot.
