LBN 587 Nebula Experiment

An experiment to get a colour image from a Ha mono stack by removing the stars and combining back with the starless image in RGB using Pixel Math.

 

Imaged at ASERO (Astronomical Society of Edinburgh Remote Observatory), Trevinca, Spain on 8/9th of April 2025.

 

Equipment:

TS-Optics 12" f/4 ONTC Carbon Tube Newtonian (f/4.6 with coma corrector), TS-Optics ToupTek MONO Camera 2600MM Pro, JTW mount. Baader Ha Filter.

 

49 x 300 seconds Ha images. Total 4 hours 5 minutes.
