Venus and a Narrow Crescent Moon in the Daytime Sky
It's not much to look at, but taking this picture was an interesting challenge. Unable to find either the moon or Venus with the naked eye after I had noticed them earlier in the morning, I had to use a star chart, a map, and a protractor to aim the camera. Even then I had a hard time locating the moon in the viewfinder. The picture is the mean of 32 exposures (for noise reduction), and contrast has been strongly exaggerated.
