Purple Cosmos with fly

Cosmos bipinnatus, commonly called the garden cosmos or Mexican aster, a popular ornamental plant, native to Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica.. These were in a planter in front of our B&B on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Taken 6/30/13 with the Sony NEX-5N mirrorless digital and Sony E 18-55mm zoom, 1/320s at F9, ISO 100.
