On 13 February 2016 in Jordan, a refugee from the Syrian Arab Republic, Qamar, is 14 years old. Raneem, 1, sits on her motherís lap. Qamar married 2 years ago in Ramtha, Jordan where she now lives, having fled Syria after the conflict began. ìWeíre lucky,î says Qamar, ìIts safer here than in Syria but I feel trapped in this house as thereís not enough room for all of us.î Qamar feels a huge sense of responsibility being a mother. ìI was a child when I married and now Iím a child, with a child,î she says.
