Infinite Paths
Whether multiverse theory is true or not philosophically one can argue that there are an infinite amount of paths one's life can take due to our free will and infinite amount of options for choices. It's kind of a daunting thought really. What if I choose the "wrong" one? Wrong being one that leads to an unhappy life, or in my case since I am a person of faith, "What if I choose one that doesn't fall in line with what God planned for me?"
On a side note I could start to go into a theological rant about an omniscient God vs free will and get into Calvanism, but in short I believe God has a plan for you, possibly a few and He lays out those options for you...and we are perfectly capable with our free will to say thanks, but no thanks and royally screw up our lives. It's scary as hell.
