32/52 Sunrise, well that was the plan. Drizzel on way back from from Airport but just a little light on the horizon for a few minutes. This was taken about 5.45am
Rush is situated about 25klm 17 miles from Dublin city centre. Rich farmland surrounds the town and there is also a small fishing port which is doing well with some crab and lobster boats.
Rush in Irish (Gailge) is Ros Eó peninsula of the yew tree. For many years was known as the market garden capital of Ireland with its fine soil providing a wide range of vegetables to Dublin markets and for export. Rush still produces the finest crops.
Rush has also been the location for many films over the years Ten little indians, Fu man chu, Some mothers son, Bloody Sunday and more recently Calvery starring Chris O'Dowd and Brendan Gleeson.
