Cambridge Blue
Cambus was formed on the split of Eastern Counties in preparation for privatisation in the latter part of 1984, for a short period many buses ran around in Poppy Red with red Cambus blobs stuck over their Eastern Counties fleetnames. However buses soon started to appear in a not unattractive but impractical light blue livery with a cream band in NBC layout, this was later modified to include a darker blue lower area.
Here in April 1985 former Eastern Counties Bristol VR JAH402L is seen in the attractive Cambridgeshire village of Somersham in company with a Mk1 Capri, Mini Clubman Traveller, Red phone box and fine looking bus shelter, heading towards Earith, which should not be confused with Erith which is an entirely different place.
