Pardon My Back
A herd of elk has been reestablished in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park new Cherokee, NC. They tend to feed in the early morning and early evening. I found this bull elk near the Cherokee visitor's center off of Highway 441. He was obviously moving away from me, which is the safer angle when you are shooting a wild animal using a long lens and a tripod.
