I got tagged for another round (8 things this time) by Chimphappyhour. He is always such a good sport:)

 

1) I always get down and dumpy during the cold months. This has been a really long winter.

 

2) Sometimes my loved ones are the only people in the world that I want to speak to or be around.

 

3) I believe that everything we do is a choice, even doing nothing at all. I tell my kids that we cannot control what happens to us, but we can certainly decide how we will allow things to affect us.

 

4) I wish I had more faith, not religion but faith- in others, in myself, in life.

 

5) I am easily amused but rarely satisfied. I have yet to do my best at anything.

 

6) CYA. This means cover your (own) ass. I always have a plan, even if I know it may( and quite likely will) be changed. The last time I have trusted others to bail me out of trouble was sometime during childhood.

 

7) I have worked hard for everything I have and everything that I am. I will never forget the road that has led here.

 

8) I do not take myself too seriously. I think others sometimes mistake this as goofing off, not focusing, silliness, or dumbness. I am actually quite the opposite when there is a task at hand and I know what is to be done.
