Shops Interlocking

On January 6th, 2024 an MBTA/Keolis work extra moved B&M RDC-2 #6213 and B&M milk car 1930 from Boston Engine terminal to the former shop complex at Iron Horse Park in North Billerica. The Budd RDC which was built in September 1956 for the Boston & Maine will be cosmetically restored and placed outside the new train dispatching facility. The milk car is reportedly headed to Vermont for preservation. The crew left Boston Engine terminal with Angus caboose C-1 leading and locomotive 1062 shoving on a 10 mph restriction. The train is seen at Shops Interlocking in North Billerica where the cars will be stored on a spur.
