James J. Hill's Train

After crossing the Continental Divide over Marias Pass, the Eastbound "Empire Builder" crosses the Two Medicine River Bridge just outside East Glacier and is about to cross the vast Montana plains. The Empire Builder is named for the man who founded the Great Northern Railroad, James J. Hill who was known by that nickname for the railroad and tourist empire that he brought to this part of the country.
