Blue In Charge
A matching set of blue power (2 EMD SD40-2s and a GE Dash 8) are seen leading Portland to Ayer freight train POAY approaching Winnocks Head Road in Scarborough. My original plan was to shoot the bridge over the Nonesuch River then shoot a wide-angle by the crossing. The headwinds combined with the train accelerating to track speed meant that I could not get ahead of them to go wide, forcing me to settle of an up-close of these two monsters from LaGrange. With the implementation of ACSES on commuter rail territory these classic EMDs will no longer lead these runs.
