Leaving Roanoke

Amtrak 156 is seen departing Roanoke, passing the old East End locomotive shops. A little blend of old and new. The Amtrak service to the Star City of the South is relatively new. The East End shops have been around since the old Norfolk & Western days but sadly have been affected by the cuts from the Wall Street run Norfolk Southern.
