WOW Trail
After running North last week with six loads of ties, Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, a subsidiary of Plymouth & Lincoln is seen bringing the empties back to the interchange with New England Southern at Lochmere in Tilton. The 1950 GP7 was originally built for the Rock Island Railroad before serving with New England Southern and finally Plymouth & Lincoln. The train is seen passing the Wow trail at Lake Winnisquam in Laconia. This trail has been the subject of debate as advocates want to extend the trail and remove the railroad tracks.
