Crossing the Charles

An Amtrak equipment move is seen crossing the Charles River from Cambridge into Boston on the old Boston & Albany "Grand Junction." The line is the link between the North and South sides for the MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak. The rail bridge passes under the Boston University road bridge, so in theory, boats go under trains, which go under cars which go under aircraft all in the same spot.
