Old 97
Valley Railroad #97 was built in 1926 by Alco-Cooke. Although a veteran of the Valley, old 97 was out of service for almost a decade after running out of service days. This fall, 97 was returned to full service making the Valley one of only a few railroads with three standard gauge operable locomotives.
