Rotary Plow

This rotary snow plow was built in 1898 in Patterson at Cooke Locomotive and Machine Works. The tender was replaced in 1940 by a PRR tender. The rotary ploew was retired in 1965 and moved to the Steamtown National Historic Site in 1993. It is the only known surviving rotary plow East of the Mississippi.
