Dirty Dirt in Dirty Boston

Another page is turned in railroad history. This less glamorous area of Boston was once the site of regular Boston and Maine freight trains at FX interlocking. Since September regular freight trains have been back to transport contaminated dirt from the Wynn Casino project in Everett. After tomorrow large freight trains on this line will once again be history as the stage of the project nears completion.
