Protest by Dads' rights campaigner

Fathers' rights campaigner Simon Anderton is continuing his protest on top of the Tyne Bridge. The 44-year-old climbed nearly 200ft and unfurled a Happy Fathers Day banner and dangled a dummy of a hanged man underneath the iconic structure as a demonstration for dads who are refused access to their children.

Bridge was closed to pedestrians today.
