I would like to thank that person that I was. He was not the smartest, healthiest, or most agreeable person, but he kept me alive. He really thought the decisions he made were the right ones. He was wrong, but that's not the point. The point is, to the best of his ability, he made his way through life with the tools he had. He was faithful and full of good intentions. Thank you for your service kid, but I must learn to make my own light now.
