Yidaki (Didgeridoo)

The yidaki was discovered in eastern Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia.

 

To play this musical instrument, you place your lips into the mouthpiece and gently blow, creating a vibration between your lips. The technique to playing the yidaki well is by pushing air out through your mouth while breathing quickly through your nose, producing a continuous deep acoustic sound.
