(Historic Photos) Is This Remarkable? - Need to Look at Both Photos!!
I am now posting 2 photos taken 47 years apart. The first one I scanned today as currently I am scanning all my old slides. It was really bad - could hardly see it and all gone purple/lavender. This result is the best I could do.
In 1961 my good mate and I bought the same shirt which I am wearing in the first photo. At his place, he took this photo of me but I have no idea how he did it, something like a half exposure each. It was a slide. Over the years it has deteriorated so badly.
I still have that shirt. I have worn it maybe 3 or 4 times since my teen years but not for ages now. It is in excellent condition and still fits me comfortably. LOL. The label is still on it but a few letters are missing so I can't read it properly. It does say "Fashioned by Ace" and "all cotton" and "MP????ID fabric".
The second photo taken earlier today is me in the shirt and I apologise for my belly (boohoo) which increased this year through being inactive because of the torn shoulder in March and my knees. (It's not quite as bad as the photo makes out!!!) My legs look funny because they have been shaved for the knee arthroscopes 4 weeks ago. Sorry about the mess in the room. I am always getting into trouble for being untidy (which I am not. :-) )
I wish I could be like 1961 when I could run fast and do all my sports and had more hair and better eyes . . . .
Late entry:- I just realised those shorts I have on are sagging at the front because they don't stay up (too big for me) and I did not have a belt!! lol. That's what makes me look bad. :-) :-) I might redo that photo with better shorts.
