Earl at the Start Line
A few years ago, I found three old photo albums at an antique store and picked them up without even looking inside. When I got home with them and started flipping the pages, I was thrilled to find several photos of a man and his race car. After some research, I was able to identify the driver as local OKC resident Earl Swan, who participated in the 1915 Southwest Sweepstakes Grand Prix race in Oklahoma City.
