Hank and Anna

As promised, a photo of Hank and Anna at the diner in Rhode Island.

 

Poor Hank. He, Anna, and I were great friends, but I think that hanging around and travelling with two girls so often made him a little crazy sometimes.

 

For example, back then, Anna and I could go most of the day without eating a bite and never get hungry (sadly, those days are LONG gone), but Hank had to eat something every couple of hours or he would get very cranky. That was never a good thing, so Anna and I would gripe at him when he'd have to stop and grab a bite to keep from passing out.

 

Sample Anna and Lynne gripe:

 

"What? You want to stop and eat when we have all of these things to see? It's only 2:00 -- you ate six hours ago. What's wrong with you? Why can't you wait until dinner?"

 

Yes, poor guy, indeed! (I have apologized for this behavior, by the way, and have told Hank that I now completely understand the need to eat on a regular schedule.)

 

Hank actually looks pretty happy here -- probably because he had just had a big meal.
